Stand para UBoot.com, en el OMD´07 de Duseldorf, por Hackenbroich Architekten

Me he encontrado con este proyecto para un stand, que me ha gustado mucho. Por un lado resuelve conceptual, formal y contructivamente el espacio del stand mediante un único elemento; que además es muy económico: bandas de tela blanca. Y, además creo que refleja muy bien el espíritu del patrocinador: una red de contactos sociales. Levando el espíritu colectivo de las redes sociales a la generacíon de la forma del stand mediante adición de pequeños elementos individuales.

For the german-austrian social network portal uboot.com we were asked to develop an idea for their fair booth for the OMD 2007 in Düsseldorf. Based on the conceptual specifications and ideas of the fair organisers and our client (bright booth with a ceiling) we investigated some ideas and came up with this concept: a smooth shaped floating ceiling volumewhich organises the spaces underneath and gives an iconic quality to it.
This volume is not realised as a compact form but defined as a hovering datum plane between the volume and the space underneath. The result is a grid of white textile ribbons of different lengths which hang from the ceiling. This leads to multiple benefits in terms of function, construction and atmosphere. In combination with the furniture the whole space gets organized.
